Which heavyweight do you think hit harder between Big George and Shavers?

Well the answer is easy ask Ali,Young who said that Shavers was the harder puncher. I think im forgetting a couple others that would confirm that.

I wold go with Shavers it would look like he clipped you and you would be down He got Ali and Holmes as well, a very dangerous big puncher unfortunatly he had a glass jaw.
Foreman punched like a wrecking ball I guess you get you best answer from the men who fought them both I believe most picked Shavers. However if the two ever faced off in thier primes I would favor Foreman to win by K.O.

Shavers is overrated, but he was a true puncher...... Foreman was a clubber who brutalized his victims with clubbing blows....... Both hit hard, but Shavers had the better single shot......

I'm going to take the word of everyone who fought Shavers and Foreman, Shavers was the harder hitter.

Shavers had the harder, focused punch. One heavyweight, I forget who, said you felt it in your bones.....or something like that.

Foreman moreso clubbed and bashed you into submission.

How can we disregard their common opponents on this one? Honestly?

Shavers, he looks to be the biggest puncher by some distance of that era

The heavyweights of that era said Shavers hit harder. Hard to argue against that.

Shavers hit harder, but Foreman before Ali was scarier because he could take your best punch and hit you at will.

You're right. Although Foreman hit very hard, Shavers was a class above.
