Billy Daniels fought Williams in his next fight after beating Doug Jones. For both fights with Williams Daniels was top ten ranked, after the second Williams fight his form nosedived, he won just one of his 8 fights against novice Ulric Regis 5-2-0.Then he fought Frazier,Daniels was on the scrap heap by then.Nice try with the spin though!
Lets see some to support Frazier's? Got a single quote from a fighter that Frazier hit him harder than anyone?
Billy Daniels was down for a 9 count when he was saved by the bell at the end of round 6. Billy could not continue. All told 22 year old Frazier decked Billy four times in 6 rounds. Compare that with the 20 rounds Billy lasted with a prime Williams.
Foster and Jones out cold. Mathis, Ramos, Ellis, Ziggy, Daniels were all flattened and utterly helpless. Please list Williams best knockouts
I've already shown that Daniels was badly on the slide when he fought Frazier ,he had won just 1 of his last 8 fights FFS!
Something positive (if this forum can handle that, lol): For all the sh$@ you guys give each other throughout these debates, you make the (I'm guessing) younger members like me go back and watch these classic fights. Happy Days, thank you.
It springs from an earlier thread with Choklab making the statement that Frazier was stronger and hit harder than anyone of Sonny Liston's opponents.I challenged this and said I thought Williams and DeJohn hit harder than Frazier and asked him what evidence he had that Frazier was stronger than Williams,De John,King? He then made a thread in which he re-worded his stance to," better all time puncher.?" Which isn't the same thing, and that is why Swag made this one.
Yes it's the exact same thread. What happened was 90% already voted Frazier hit harder. so the guys who think Williams hit harder private message each other to post the same thread again to try and reverse the result. It's embarrassing. But it's happened before...
1st off nobody private messaged anyone. 2nd of all if you don't understand the difference between a harder and better puncher, you're clearly even worse a poster than Mcgrain and Mcvey make you out to be.
