Not much in it between Macklin and Barker IMO. Macklin is more active, Barker is probably a bit quicker with better defence. Murray I think we'd be getting caught up on one fight rating him alongside.

I think Barker and Macklin are a few levels about Murray.

Darren has pretty good boxing skills, and wasn't doing too bad against Martinez for the first 6 rounds or so. Macklin is a pretty good pressure fighter as well. I do think Barker has better fundamentals than the paddy tho

    Barker
    Macklin

    Murray

Tricky. They all need to bounce back from their last fights and i imagine we'll have a better answer in 6 months. At this stage i would lean towards Macklin, followed by Barker and then Murray, despite Murray being the only one not to lose a world title fight.

    Barker by a distance.

Not massively sold on Macklin, good to watch but don't rate him world level think Martinez will make easy work of it on Sat (hope not though).

I believe Barker is most skilled and talented, Macklin has beaten better quality and Murray is still relatively new to this level. Not even mixed at European level but held his own against Sturm.

All are good quality operators, I'm worried about Darren this hip injury stuff along with the heinous beating he took of them scumbags may take away longevity in his career.

If they were to all meet they'd be hard fights to call but i'd take Barker to beat both on his day if fully fit. Murray i think would be Macklin as well i think he's a good fighter but i think he could of beaten Sturm that night but seemed happy to coast at times...

good post, I'm a Barker fan but it's very close between them two in terms of who is better imo. Barker is clearly the better boxer but Macklins stamina etc make for good qualities and sometimes they trump boxing skills.

I hope Barker goes on to win a world title, dunno if it's gunna happen though, doubt it in fact.
