he makes his debut on the Hennessey show on Saturday. Apparently he is Brendan Ingles "new Yemeni sensation".

has anyone heard of or seen him and is he a Naz clone?

Never seen him fight but his real name is Abdul Barry Awad, according to boxrec.

Unusual middle name for a Yemeni

I'm guessing his name is Abdul 'Bari' which is an Arabic name and he's anglicised it to 'Barry'.

Not another ingle sensation. Lets hope he's a little better then Super bad Barnes and that other young kid who was the second coming a few years back. For every good fighter they produce they seem to hype up some right dodgy ones.

Barry as we called him in the amateurs! He wasn't bad, not quite Naz in his skills but not the worst i've seen!
He won the NACYPs recently, lost on 2 occassions to Josh Warrington as an amatuer!
Josh also a junior champion himself and also ABA Semi Finalist 2009! Has recently turned pro, will be making his debut at Huddersfield end of October! Possible Grudge match up there! :bbb

Never seen much of Richard Towers/Hayles, but spoke to him when he boxed in the ABA semis this year! He was stopped by South Banks Simon Valilly who went on to win the finals!

Would you have pulled him out?

I know he was being given a boxing lesson and looked like caving in pretty much from the midway point onwards, but one slashing punch to Hatton's eye and he could have had a cut stoppage win....

    aye...fair enough i suppose...
but he was fooked those last few rounds...like well fooked.
would i have pulled him out ?....er...maybe i would have actually..he had the chance like you say with hattons eye, but he could have got very badly hurt the state he was in trying to get that eye.
    maybe i'm too soft :)
