Who next for Barker?

    Websites and ESPN are reporting that Macklin has signed to fight Winky so where does this leave Barker?

    The Euro list isn't great, is there anyone else that would be realistic that could boost the Barker profile?

    Manfredo?

    Just pushing it out there.

    Unless he just wants to earn a bit of gravy I think the EBU is worthless at the moment with no Lee or Macklin so the states is the way forward.

    There's some good middleweights popping up all over the place but he needs to get moving.

    Macklin has made his move so Barker now needs to do the same!!!

    That would be Grzegorz Proksa.

    Oral is next in line for the vacant title. Don't think Barker would have any problem fighting him.

    Mafredo would be decent.

    Barker is 12 with the IBF and Manfredo 9 (he might even have gone up after last weeks win) so that would get him closer to a shot against Sylvester.

    Also, how about McEwan on the Khan card?

    manfredo is a good shout. okay fight having fought on contender and vs calzaghe. would be good to bring him over but hennessey prefers to do wrong by his fighters now adays.

    Good shout will. Would be a *******. I'm still hoping that the Macklin - Winky fight is BS tho because Barker - Macklin HAS to happen!

    Just got off the phone with my Proksa source.

    They have been asking Manfredo's people for a while to no avail.

    I'm not so keen on Barker for Proksa as stylistically I think its bad for Proksa (also I like them both and would be a nightmare for me).

    Proksa is not to be taken lightly, mark my words!!!

    Would Macklin HAVE to vacate to fight Winky? COuld he not hold onto it and still fight after al it caused him a lot of hassle last time out
