I was a world champion boxer at several weights and am in the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

I was stopped just once in my career by a fighter who was featured in The Ring's 100 Greatest Punchers magazine (2003).

Though I wasn't necessarily a massive hitter, there is footage of me savagely knocking out a fellow Hall of Famer with one punch.

I am now dead, therefore you should be extremely spooked by me being able to type.

    Any guesses?

Very good. I'll do another one and make it harder.

I was a world champion boxer and am in the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

I was a well rounded fighter and met ten world champions during my time as a professional.

    I fought before 1980, and below 175lbs.

My best win was over one of Asia's greatest fighters.

Jimmy McLarnin beat Pancho Villa, but my guess would be Frankie Genaro.

Genaro stuck out in my mind, because I saw someone mention him on this forum recently. Villa is thought of by many to be one of Asia's, if not Asia's #1, top fighters.

I am not pretending to be a super historian here.

I mentioned him the other day, it was probably that you saw. Before that, I can't even remember when I last saw him mentioned in the forum. I'd like to see these more obscure fighters get a bit more credit really.

I am pretty sure it was in the who is underrated on this forum thread. If that was you, then that was it.

Genaro was a good mention there.

    Let's try this one.

I was never considered by many as a very good fighter, but I was known for taking quite a pounding. I was mainly a guy who's job it was to show up and fill in for other fighters.

Hint: Jack Johnson floored me over a dozen times when I fought him.

I was a powerful puncher for my weight.

My most famous conqueror beat me twice, both in the same round.

I never beat that man, but I beat two other champions who beat him.

I also drew with another Hall of Famer.

    Who was I?
