I assume his next fight will be in April or May, but who is really there for him to fight? Tank Davis is with Al Haymon so that wouldn't work and Mikey Garcia has his fight in March.
Most likely the WBA mandatory defense against Anthony Crolla. Would like to see Lomachenko fight in UK. But I heard there are some talks to have him fight against the new IBF champion between Isa Chaniev and Richard Commey. But their match is February 2019. So it's a bit too fast even if the fight is held on May.
He would unequivocally toy with Mikey Garcia, you will be so ashamed that your presence here will fade.
I think Davis will be protected for a long time (possibly forever) by Haymon. He'd have zero chance against Loma. Haymon's stewardship of WW has seen soft match ups and very little activity so I think he'll do that with any up and coming 'name'. No way he risks Davis until Loma is well past it. I think lightweight is about the physical limit for Loma but there's no one there who's a threat. Maybe Luke Campbell or Devin Haney in a few years but they are too green now. We'll probably just have to put up with him dominating anyone with enough courage to go against him.

People keep talking about Loma vs Mikey but the latter will move up to 147 to fight Spence next. Win or lose nobody knows but Mikey won't come back to 135 again to fight Loma. I bet my house on it.
If Mikey were to beat Spence, he jumps over Loma on the PFP list and the onus would be on Loma to try and get that fight made.
