he said after the GG loss he's taking a break ( 2 training camps in a row), but he'll probably return in 2013

Have not heard a peep out of him since the loss. I'm sure he'll be back in 2013.

Hope he'll be back. Good and very exiting fighter.

Though obviously wasn't good enough for Golovkin.

How about Zbik? I am sure Zbik would want to get away from his old promoter at the same time.

No harm in losing to Triple G. Proska will be back.

Makes you wonder what his handlers were doing putting him in with GGG at this stage.

It is not uncommon to hear of boxers saying they have sustained lasting or long term injuries to eyes, ear drums, balance etc, after fighting very tough opponents, and with a murderous puncher like GGG, who knows what problems Proska now has.

    What handlers??

Proksa didnt even have a trainer until a few days before the fight.

If his career continues the way it has(training himself for some fights) he will end up as wasted talent.

All credit for not only taking GGG on short notice but also going in there "gunz a blazin" with that being said it was a bad move. He never tried to really box but rather threw caution to the wind.

In a perfect World Proksa would reunite with his original trainer(Laszlo Veras) who seemed to be the only one to calm his nerves and give him good corner advice between rounds. IMO they had good chemistry.

In fairness, Proksa showed a lot of heart against GGG. He has great potential, but I don't think he has been managed or trained properly.

Hopefully he can get his career back on track before he gets too old and becomes a wasted talent.
