Give Gallagher a chance, he's only starting off. Tibbs is more experienced, but at this moment if i was a fighter i'd probabily go with Joe.
Too difficult to judge these things. You get 12 minutes to actually assess them with your own eyes, and even that is only one part, albeit a crucial part, of being a trainer. It's not really like football where you have a lot of teams of similar stature to compare performance against. It's a 2 man sport, you're often well overmatched or undermatched. You can't really compare fighters that way. It makes it really difficult. You can only really go on long term results and tidbits, but theres not enough from Gallagher to even be able to do that.
To expand on that I think you've got to wait A LOT longer in boxing than in most sports to assess trainers. They might have a few fighters, who are out a few times a year, in fights that can range from a complete joke, to severe underdog, to actually competitive. The reality is fighters make their trainers look good or bad, their influence can make the difference in getting the best out of a fighters abilities but it will rarely transcend levels. Even then, you've got to see if they can do the business for numerous fighters, whether they've got a few strings to their bow. You're talking 4 or 5 years really to get a full picture barring them doing something totally ridiculous. You have a good idea if a football manager has a clue in a season. Still far too early to tell with Gallagher. The early signs are excellent though.

Tibbs right now and thats no dis respect to Gallagher. Until Gallaghers fighters compete at world level you cannot compare him with the great british trainers.
