toney for sure, people have the audacity to claim he's an ATG and would have given anyone problems in his prime, he won close decisions throughout his title reign which could have gone the other way, he was completely outboxed by roy jones jr(a guy whos an ATG would have made it atleast competitive). people always talk about jirov etc but who on earth was jirov and you could have easily scored that fight for jirov. de-la hoya is also overrated but no where close to the extent as toney.
Because these are two fighters that are usually held in high regard. Although they are both ATG's i believe they are overrated. Sure they have qualities about them that are better then most other boxers, but i think they failed at MOST of their biggest fights. There's no such thing as losing prime or old age, you just suck.
I couldnt agree more. I voted for Toney because he never proved how good he could really be. All hype. I have a bit more respect for Oscars accolades.
Toney without question. I think he's overrated. I don't think Oscar is overrated, generally speaking.
Oscar for me. He's treated as such a great ATG meanwhile he sunk whenever he faced anyone truly great.
