Did Cotto name a new trainer yet?

Don't tell me he's still using his "Nutritionist" as his new trainer. He should have gotten an experienced trainer at least.

He is using the same who was doing all his pads section when Evangelista was his "official" trainer. The guy did a good job then.... and he is doing a good job now

I would have hired Winky's trainer Dan Birmingham. He's from Florida, where Cottos training. He uses the Peek-a-Boo defense. That Cotto's uncle was having him use. And he'll make Cotto use his jab more.

I blamed his last performance on the corner. Even though he won, he was getting hit too many times clean. His defense wasn't the same like in the Mosley fight. He was lucky Clottey wasn't that big of a puncher.

Cotto is fine ... he doesn't need a new trainer ... he's going to be who he is for the rest of his career.

Nahhh Birmingham is basic, he'll need someone better than him!!! Birmingham ruined Jeff Lacy's Career!! He took way too many shoots against Calzaghe

Joe Santiago...he basically learnt everything he knows from Miguel's uncle anyway, so I dont see it being much different.

Yeah so..He got cut and was in against one of the best welters in the world.

What does that have to do with Joe anyway?

Evangelista was training Miguel for that fight until they had their dispute...This time from beginning to end Cotto should have stable training camp. He will be 100% for this fight and when he loses it wont be for any other reason except that Manny was better on the night.
