I must admit, i still feel it was Ali's duty to keep that promise.

I'm a fan of both, certainly no hater, i just think "The Louisville Lip" should have kept his word.

Why do you call him Clay?

It's almost as though you are trying to deliberately undermine him especially since when he fought Frazier his name was widely accepted as Muhammad Ali.

Cassius believed he still won the fight.
As he told Howard Cosell,,,,,'they didn't give me the decision'.

I think in his brain, he meant the 'white referee and '2' judges'.

When referring to whites, he always used the term 'they'

So you can't call him Ali either?

What did he do to you?

He acknowledged that Joe had beaten him after the fight and in interviews the day after the fight.

The backtracking only began sometime after.

why do you call him clay... same ****in logic.. get over yourself.. obviously you have a little grudge against Ali but you're really being a ******... 80% of your posts are bigging up Frazier and taking shots at ALI not clay or whatever you like to call him..

Frazier is believed to have said "You aint doin no crawlin tonight, you fought a great fight" immediately after the fight finished.

Bull**** Frazier said to yank Durham "Oi go get clay I wana see him crawl!"

And because the British commentary called him clay and Frazier called him clay and because I recognise the NOI as a cult not a religion.

Well British commentary don't call him that now ya hick, and his isn't in that cult any more.

So those reasons are non-existent really, aren't they?
