why do Floyd fans

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Macwitdacheese, Jun 11, 2013.

  1. Give canelo no chance in hell? Do they expect him to stand there and get tagged all night? To use no head movement like Guerrero? To rush in like Hatton? To lose composure like Ortiz? The kid is young, hungry, is able to box, is able to bang and so far has improved in every fight. Why drain him to 152 if its such "easy work" :huh

Explain how he will win with attributes he has exhibited not with super powers provided him via fanboyness.

The 2 pounds is just another physiological ploy from Mayweather. Giving him another thing to think about come fight time.

    *****s. not floyd fans.

  5. Go ask Trout. Can you honestly sit there and say as a boxing fan he has not improved in his fights?

He of course has a chance. But, it is not to outbox Floyd to a decision victory. His edge is his size and punching power, in conjunction with his combination punching and above average boxing skill at 154 . If he can put the right game plan together and execute it flawlessly, he has a fair chance. But, more than likely he will be taken out of his game plan and try to fight a chess match...against a grand master. This is why they fight the fights though. Anything is possible.

    Chance then any opponent...

  9. Yeah dont get me wrong, Floyd will outbox canelo but I think he is the most dangerous opponent. His combos are devistating :bbb

I really think Canelo has zero chance of winning this fight. I'm seeing like 8 rounds to 4 favoring Mayweather.

They give Canelo no chance because he's going to be drained with the catchweight:lol:.

This. I give Canelo a chance and would not be surprised if he won. I won´t be surprised if Floyd schools him either.
I think the 152 pound catchweight is there to make sure that Canelo will not come in at 170+. He is usually around 164-167 but for his last fight he beefed up a bit. And if Canelo does come in at 170+ then it could be an advantage for Floyd.
