As initially reported on Fightnews, former three-time world champion Ferocious Fernando Vargas (26-5, 22 KOs) will return to the ring. Vargas will meet Henry Sugar Pooh Buchanan (20-2, 13 KOs) on April 16th. The proposed location of the fight is the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The bout is scheduled for 10 rounds with a contracted weight of 171 pounds making it a light heavyweight contest. Vargas is reportedly being trained for the bout in Las Vegas by Floyd Mayweather Sr. __________________ Ferocious vs Sugar Pooh at a whooping 171 lbs smh.
I don't see why Vargas shouldn't fight at this weight if he wants to. He'll be slow as **** but should win easily.
