why do people usually do training logs? I like the sound of them , its nice to keep track of your training and look back and see your progress. Do people do it to show it to others or just for personal use usually?

Mine's for personal use. I don't think that too many people browse the logs sub-section so using it for showing off is kinda pointless. The log comes in handy as a motivational tool when I look at it and realize how long it's been since I last trained. That usually give me the extra yearning to get my ass back in the gym.

personally i just get satisfaction from sitting down in the morning and logging in all of yesterdays training, it gives me a sense of accomplishment, i'm like that.

Im the same i always try and log everything accurately after training so i know where i am. I also like to get some paper and write a plan of what im going to do before i go into the gym and as sad as it is i like to literally tick everything off as i do it if possible. That way what i wrote down when i was feeling fresh and ready doesnt get missed because my brains not thinking clearly when tired. I hate coming out the gym and then realising i forgot something but im weird like that

It's just to keep track of progression.
