Plenty of people care about Whyte, the 400K plus who paid for his last 2 PPV's, the 20K who but tickets for his fights. Whyte is a legit top contender and is making meaningful fights and looks to still be trying to do so if Breazeale, Povetkin and Ortiz are the names he's looking to fight next. Sure he might get KO'ed against any of them but that's because he's willing to take risks and not fight weak opposition while sitting on his mandatory status.
Willing to take risks. LOL. He is taking a ****. He fought featherfisted Parker and old shot Chisora who looked horrible vs. Takam and landed a lucky punch to win. Whyte is a fraud. Mixture of smart choice of opposition (Parker: good name but low risk, Chisora: good name but totally shot, Browne: good name, beat Chagaev but totally shot and old and slow) and the typicall british boxing hype pushed by Matchroom boxing. Whyte isn't even Top 10 in terms of skills, speed, power and ring iq. Usyk vs. Bellew did more PPVs than Whyte vs. Chisora. Says it all.
