A couple of days ago I read that he said he tired himself out from celebrating the knockdown. I really hope it isn't true, it's too much even for Wilder's standards.
That's a pretty dumb way to lose a boxing match, but he used every other excuse so why not. he should probably focus more on his boxing skills than that lame celebration he does.

Both theses guys and their fans. Hell, Fury and his fans are just as bad. Mental illness, drinking, cocaine, over eating, long lay off. Just fight and stop making all these foolish excuses.
Fury never used any of those as excuses for not winning a fight. He got himself right and against his whole teams advice took the Wilder fight. If anything, Wilder who claims to be the most powerful punching baddest man on the planet should be embarrassed he couldn’t put Fury away. A Fury who’s been through hell and fought Wilder at 80%
The fans did and do. I guess you didn't hear Fury after the fight in the ring talking about his mental illnes, long layoff, drinking, overweight and drug abuse. He framed it in way as to not sound like an excuse but, he put it out there.
Why would he make excuses for a fight he clearly won? I think he was just highlighting what he’d been through which makes his achievement of beating Wilder even more special
You think he needed to highlight what he had been through? Everybody and their mom knew his story months before the fight. Don't see any reason to speak on it after the fight, unless he's making excuses as to why he almost got put to sleep. Remember? A lot of Fury fans were saying he was not ready for Wilder because of all the stuff he had been through. His long journey was well known. And please, don't take what I am saying as a put down to Fury. He proved me wrong and I have no problem admitting that. Much respect! This, coming from a person that said Fury would never fight again.
Look, Wilder has to battle against pretty much every obstacle it's conceivable to think of and if you don't agree, you're perpetuating a white supremacist narrative. What's so hard to understand about that??? There's clearly an agenda against Wilder, the WBC want nothing more than to have him jobbed out of his title but the guy is just too unfukwithable. #FACTZZ
I didn't watch the fight until last night. First, clear victory for Fury. It was even close. Even round 9 after the knockdown Fury dominated the rest of the round. He also payed safe after the KD in the 12th. I am convinced he could have KO Wilder after that straight right left hook combination. Fury is definitely a superior boxer. Wilder hit him behind the heads too many times. Now, I have to say Wilder is a hell of a fighter. I think he he works onhis basic boxing skills a little more he would do a lot better. Too many looping hands. He totally forgets about boxing technique when he gets excited. He needs to be corrected
Wilder fans making every excuse. Just like Wilder himself. Fact is Wilder has lot of flaws. Movement troubles him, power troubles him. Had Fury the ability to turn defense into offense better he would of stopped Wilder. I’m convinced the Povetkin of 3 years ago takes him out in 2 rounds. Szpilka troubled him with lateral movement and herky jerky head movement. Washington with a basic jab. Wilder is just very tall and throws a sling shot right hand, that if you can’t move out of the way fast enough it’s a fight changer. But Fury with his height, had good vision on it and quick enough feet to avoid it all night. Wilder never had a plan B and his team clearly took the fight believing Fury would be a win for them. Fury knew he was the better boxer and fooled them all.
