The fight was a joke to begin with, sad part is the Wilder fan girls on here were actually defending and looking forward to it. This is a blessing in disguise. Now there's no reason not to cancel the date and look for a better opponent, but I fully expect they'll find another no hoper and bring him in after he's had a 2 week training camp.
I think Wilder was worried that he might have gave Wawrzyk too long of a training camp. Just kidding. We need to see if Wilder is consistent and calls the fight off or if he goes back on the stance he took against Povektin and fights anyway though.

Obvious choice would be Dominic Breazeale since he's on the undercard (announced today) and is ranked 17th in WBC. Not a lot of choices on a month's notice. These guys need more time to cycle those 'roids.
Gerald Washington is ranked #10 in the WBC, already in the top 15. Slide him over and serve him a KO. It would ruin his career, he's not ready but if it has to be done so be it.
