I dont have any facts to back this up but it seems Cotto has been bleeding more and more as his career goes on. He seems to be cutting easier and looking at his face shows a lot of scar tissue around the eyes and over the eyes. I have not heard of him or his camp address this issue with surgery. Maybe it is a nonissue, but it sure seems like an issue to me.

Pac has fast hands and fast punches that graze the face are the ones that can cut you the worst. If you remember the punch that opened up that gash on Vitali (one of the worst cuts I have seen) it was a grazing shot by LL that essentially split open the skin.

My opinion is that if Cotto gets cut early or severely it might lead to an early end of this fight and it could go to the cards.

    He will most likely bleed.

This is a viable outcome for the fight to either be a tko for pac or possibly go to the cards early. I dont wanna see this but it is something that has to be considered as a real possibility.

The under title for this fight should have been
    "there will be blood''

    Cant wait for the fight.

Oh im sure there will be blood, just hope that eye dosn't get opened up to where it causes the fight to be stopped.

both have fought with blood all over their face, but i do think Cotto's face is more tender. Cotto still has fresh scars, it's been a while since Pac has been busted up, I think not since the last marquez fight.

i see it happening. In his last fight with Clottey, that head but splitt open his left eye, which with Manny being a south paw puts it right in line with Manny's #1 punch, the straight left.

Cotto has to much heart to quit on his own. Only the doc will stop it due to the cut. But if he does cut like in the Clottey fight, and he does continue, Pac will **** his blind side, and IMO, will lead to a late round TKO.

    I certainly don't hope so, but it's a possibility.
The Clottey fight will be nothing like this though, so I don't expect Pac to open a cut on Cotto with an accidental headbutt like Clottey did.

I look forward to this great matchup, but I don't hope any of these guys will recieve a fatal beating.
