Gutted about this, all seems very odd, styles would of gelled brilliantly until Williams KO'D him imo, appears JJ Metcalf is fit but Frank and Team Williams have opted to use another replacement, guessing it's a better fight? European shot maybe?. blow to the card to this aswell, theres some decent names, but a lot of TBA's and we are 6 weeks out, much like the Whyte Chisora card.

Agree, Edwards Rosales, Buatsi and Walsh Belloti mention for 02, while at Manchester Murray heffron conlan Gorman all supposed to be in big fights
Where did you hear that? I thought Castano was defending against Lara? I think Lara's team even said this too. Not that I doubt it, just wondering where it came from. Would be an easier fight for Castano, plus it must be a bigger fight Williams has been offered for him to pull out of this one.
The stick Eddie Hearn got for a fighter who’s not his on a show that’s not his having no opponent because he got him a title fight instead... Meanwhile frank pulls a fit metcalf and replaces him with Heffron for what reason exactly? And nobody bats an eyelid... Where’s that social media bias thread?
Metcalf suffered an injury a few weeks back, had to pull out of a warm up fight and there was a chance he might not make the Williams fight. So they started looking at alternatives for Williams, which is understandable, and even though Metcalf since then had said he would be fit for the fight, they decided to stick with the alternative, Heffron. It's bad luck for Metcalf but they wanted to make sure Williams had a good opponent for the card and they took action when Metcalf became an injury doubt. It also worked out for getting an opponent for Heffron, cos he had no opponent yet for the show if I'm not mistaken. Not taking sides or anything, I have no sides when it comes to promoters, but the Hearn/Miller/Dinu/Little situation is not identical to this.
Williams fighting Heffron for 160 British title. Could turn out to be better than the Metcallf fight.
