It looks like Goosen is trying to match Williams against Luis Collazo for a Nov. 29th card on HBO. Collazo may turn down the bout because of the purse, but I hope it gets made. With the Hoya vs. Pac talks heating up, it looks like Margartio/Cottey II will happen Nov. 1. The winners should fight eachother in early 2009, and unify 3 of the belts.

Cotto looks like he's going to also fight in Dec., while Berto is fighting at the end of September. With Collazo fighting Williams, Cotto could be the WBC's no.1 ranked contender in early 2009. Hopefully Cotto and Berto can fight in early 2009, setting up unification bout for all 4 belts by the end of 2009. There's a lot of good matches to be made at WW, hopefully it unfolds like this.

This would be a great fight for Williams to stay busy yet be challenged.

Collazo was Williams' sparring partner for Quintana wasn't he?

Yes. However, Williams was Margo's sparring partner for when Margo fought Santos. I believe Clottey also served as Judah's sparring partner. Those sparring partners can be tough.

Too funny, it wasn't disrespect. It means Collazo is a clear underdog that still has a decent chance to win.

Collazo could pose some of the trouble Quintana did in the 1st Williams fight.
