I have said on the General Forum that Paulie has nothing in his armoury to worry Hatton, and all I got was............

He went 12 rounds with Cotto, so how could Hatton stop him?

Hatton will lose to Paulie, because he is like Mayweather

Hatton lost to Paulie's sparring partner, Collazo

    What utter nonsense!!!

I doubt he's ever picked a fight of his full stop. Witter has never had a fight which has been important enough for journalists to go round asking folks for their picks. Plus Hatton has more important things to concern him, unlike Witter who is obsessed with Hatton and probably sticking pins into his vodoo doll as I type this!

I remember an article in Boxing Monthly, where each man made reference to the other.

Hatton was quite complimentary about Witter in some ways, stating that he considered him the 2nd best at light welter and that he would probably beat Malignaggi.

He then went on to say that the constant sniping had worn him down and made him think twice (in reality much more than that ) about giving Witter a pay day.

Witter, as usual, spoke with disdain about Hatton, rubbishing Lazcano as a comeback opponent, stating that his was the riskier fight of the two - which was ridiculous at the time but in hindsight correct......

I can see both points of view - Calzaghe had it to a lesser extent with Froch, why bother rewarding someone who is disrespectful toward you constantly?

Though on the flipside, why not double him up on the canvas crying like a *****........

    Witter chats shite.

He once said he'd knock out Mayweather. He also said he would have stopped Tszyu in 5 rounds.

It's funny that the general consensus is Malignaggi couldn't crack an egg, but then you watch that doc and see him knockout that red-neck looking guy. Just shows you that guys that are considered feather-fisted would spark out your average man on the street.

I think Malignaggi has enough pop - if his hands are okay - to make Hatton think and do one of wrestling moves and also provoke Ian Darke to say "Hatton just seemed a little stunned there. Have the Hatton camp underestimated his power a little bit?". Then Watt will probably chime in with his "Ricky has to make sure he doesn't get sloppy!"

    Malignaggi UD if he wins.

Ok, Witter picking Malignaggi over Hatton isn't exactly a surprise.

However, the columnist from The Sun Colin Hart has done the same.
