Lewis at 38 finished his career running desperately from the rematch with VItaly after his lucky win, while Wlad at the same age is still the man to beat challenging the toughest possible opponents.

Wlad also tried / avenged all of his loses, can't say the same from lewis who ran away after getting a controversial stoppage over vitaly.

Lewis ducked Sanders all together, just like he did against all southpaws.

If Wlad gets to say 20 defenses and unifies the last belt, hard to argue Lewis accomplished more. Of course, Wlad's earlier losses affect this as well. It's an interesting debate though.

While I favor Lennox h2h if he were to fight Wlad...his resume gets a bit overrated (tyson and hoyfield mainly). It's definitely top quality but Wlad's longevity and dominance during his reign would overtake that imho. I just don't buy this is 'the worst era' in hw boxing argument to denigrate his accomplishments. When you dominate a division for a decade....you are great full stop (that's why so few have done it). Lewis is my #5 hw. Very difficult to rank Wlad atm since he's still fighting but I feel #8-12 is justifiable. I am fan of both btw even though I am a Wald nuthugger at heart :yep

That is a very objective, well-thought-out, and fair ****ysis.

However, this is not the place for that. You have to pick a side and passionately nuthug your favorite and totally trash the other. It's in the forum rules.

Wlad is good but Lewis was better.

Put them H2H in their prime and we all know who wins (apart from a few Klit nuts).

No. Anyone that follows the sport knows that this is a pick 'em fight.

After wins over Jennings and Wilder/Fury in the Fall Wlad will pass Lewis easily.

IMO, Lewis is still greater because of his win over Vitali Klitschko.

Lewis was scheduled to fight Vitali Klitchko in December 2003, but due to the Johnson fight falling through, decided to take the WBC #1 ranked Ukraine instead at a few days notice in June 2003.

Lewis announced his retirement in Feb 2004, 2 months after the original scheduled date. These are the chronological facts. The opinions of K 2 bros fans are meaningless.

oh yeah, because beating vitali, tyson and holyfield is child's play compared to the killing machines you listed!
