Wlad never beat a great Heavyweight, has been TKO'd 3 times by journeymen and average contenders, the WBO never should be counted as a legitimate title.

Who cares what you do in the olympics, Fraudley Harrison won a gold medal and look what he did as pro fighter.:deal

I think Wlad this time around would KO Peter in the late rounds !

True, if he's still champ 4 or 5 years from now, I give him the props he deserves. The fact that some people talk about Wlad like he's almost a ATG, makes me laugh. I just hope the division improves and we start seeing Wlad fight better oppenents, thats when I will be happy, and maybe then we will all see what Wlads truly made of.:yep

    Wald by brutal KO.

After a sustained beat down. Peter is overhyped and appears to have had his chin taken from him during the night :good

I used to think Scam Cheater had a chance at being good until I saw him fight his first live body, and he had to cheat to do anything, then after he fought Jameel McCline I knew he would never amount to anything.

He has absoulutely zero boxing skills. He lost to shot fat Toney, got a gift, then beat shot Fat Toney. Big deal.

I hope he does beat Maskaev personally because I can't WAIT to see Vitali knock his dumb ass out cold.

Right on all counts, bar the fact it will be Wlad who KO's him. Vitali has been TKO'd by his training camp again and again.

Your use of verbs is hilarious. When was Wlad rocked? Seriously? I want you to point to a round where Wlad was rocked.

The sequel is very simple. Peter was an unknown and Wlad stayed on the outside and pecked his way to an easy victory. What Wlad did not know, and what was exposed in the 12th round and against Toney and McCline, is Peter CANNOT see hooks and uppercuts. He simply can't see it. Anything that is not coming straight towards him is very hard for him to see.

Wlad is going to hook the **** out of Peter and put him to sleep. Wlad was taking the Peter test blind the first time, now he has an amazing outline...

Exactly. Wlad will never be outpointed. Period. End of story.

I think it's pretty simple, when a guy clinches over 90 times and was dropped 3 times, most, if not all people would agree Wlad got hurt in that fight. I know your comeback will be Peter hit Wlad behind the head and thats why Wlad went down, but Peter did hurt Wlad enough for him to practically run away from Sam Peter and fall down when he seen Peter loading up to throw his dangerous right hand to finish him off.

That left hook that started the trouble sent the big octopus spiraling to the canvas. He tried to grab Sam but missed and fell.

    Obviously he was hurt.

You got haterade coming out your nose, son.

He is a special fighter right now, has nothing to do with the times. You stack the current WK specimen against the top ten of any era, he has a good chance against the majority. And I like how you downplay your boy Peter when it's convenient, he's not a big win at all, but he's so much better than Wlad at the same time, right?

I wish people would give it a rest with the Klitschko back slapping. He's the best heavyweight around now & I expect him to clean up the belts & hope he does but lets not pretend he's something he's not. He's not a special talent.

What would he need to do differently to earn that honorific in your opinion? What area of his technique/discipline is he neglecting? Where is the lag in his improvement? Who is he ducking that he should be fighting to prove his mettle against? Enlighten me.

Boxing fans get excited about guys they like watching, and there's always at least a smidge of exaggeration. For you to comment on it being "excessive" in Wlad's case just exposes irrational hatred, plain and simple. Every fan exaggerates a little (as there are things you cannot prove without them taking place in the ring, especially with subjecting rankings and conjectural statements such as fantasy matchups). Every fighter gets hyped or downplayed a little, depending on who's talking about them - whether it's the most objective analyst in the world or not. People remarking on how - well, remarkable, Wlad's transformation is in recent years is just a statement of the obvious, and any claims or boasts made to support those remarks just fall under the par-for-the-course excitement and exaggeration that goes into every boxing discussion. Case in point, how an absolute TURD like Peter gets made out to be the division's savior. He went from appearing WAY below average, to just about average, to back below average repsectively in his last three fights. Wlad gets too much backslapping for dominating the living crap out of every ranked HW put in front of him and perfecting a winning formula that is apparently insoluble at this time; yet crude, undisciplined Peter gets just the right amount of backslapping when people call him the "guy to beat Wlad", the "most title-deserving non-titlist out there" and "the savior of the division" (all very common rhetoric)?????
