Those jabs were gonna give him brain damage and he wouldn't be able to talk to his kids so who can blame him for quitting on his stool?
I never made fun of Vitali for quiting against Bryd, and have always said he's the better of the two brothers, my dislike for Vitali stems from him canceling fights at the last minute, screwing fans and his oppenents in the process. Anybody who has watched Lamon Brewster for many years like I have, would know something was wrong with him the night he fought Wlad. He has been in many wars over the years, watch these fights and tell me if you agree, Eitenne, Meehan, Luan Krasniqi, Wlad, and Liakhovich. I guess the sayings true, you build 1000 bridges and you suck one dick, and everyone remembers you as a ***. Brewster has all the heart in the world, but that night there was something terribly wrong with him that night.

He looked fine when he was doing the punching, but when the tables turned he imploded. I dont know, he had history of stamina problems and falling apart during fights, the Brewster fight wasnt his first collapse.
Whatever makes you feel better, but during the course of two fights, Wlad dominated 90% of it. And go back and watch the tape, Wlad's hands dropped before Lamon ever landed anything. And you do understand that Lamon landed more punches in the second fight, right? No, you don't.
Wlad would knock Peter out if they fought again. He had Peter out on his feet in the last round of the first fight but chose not to step on the gas pedal and finish Peter off. Peter has looked awful of late and Wlad is looking sensational fight after fight since that match took place.
Skull, I think if Wladdy beats Sultan and Povetkin this year, people will start talking about him as a great fighter. Everyone has a threashold. To me, the Brewster fight was the tipping point. After TOS, I said yeah, but he went down again and got cut. After Peter, I said he went down three times. After Byrd, I said we all knew he could bully Byrd around After Brock, I said yeah, but he sucks. After Austin, I said yeah, but he's a joke. After Brewster, things changed. I had to step back and say that that is an outstanding winning streak, and credit goes where credit is due. There are those who said that brewster was passed it. There are those who will say that Sultan isn't that good. There are those who will find some excuse for Povetikn. The point is, the longer the streak continues, the more people reach their tipping point where they are convinced. Personally, I hope him and Povetkin becomes a great series. The point is, you have a number of guys who have had outstanding amatuer carrers who have turned/are turning that into highly succesful pro careers: Sultan, Chag, Povetkin, Solis, Gomez. If Wladdy beats some of these guys, who have been doing this for years, have well polished skills, and are prime, it will be hard to deny him a place in the Pantheon.
Have to disagree with you here mate. When Wlad fought Purrity, he was 21 and green as hell and he fought for ten rounds at middleweight pace. Any HW could have collapsed from wasting energy like that. The loss against Sanders had nothing to do with stamina at all. In the first Brewster fight, Wlad showed all kinds of symptoms of a serious metabolic imbalance, whatever the causes. Why do you think he was ordered to undergo a special medical exam? His blood sugar levels were off the charts. Wlad has run 10k's in 38 minutes, that's unbelievable stamina for a 240 pund guy. Wlad fouhgt 11 rounds against Brewster and won 10 of them clearly, under normal circumstances, he would always beat Brewster.
