...is now clearly the fight. Chag has beaten Virchis, Ruiz, Valuev, and Sprott.

Peter has stuggled with a fat middleweight and a four time loser.

Does anyone thing that the winner of Sultan-Holyfield would be better? Anyone still arguign for Peter? Another contender?

    Thoughts?

I don't think this fight will happen any time soon. Maybe after Chagaev has a couple of successful defences and Wlad will hold more than one belt, there will be momentum to make it happen.

I like Chagaev, his is like George Chuvalo, but with more skills, but Vlad easily beats him. Chagaev was very lucky to get by Valouev. Chagaev would knock Peter out, so would Valouev. Maskaev would have stopped Peter tonight and Vitali would have put him into the morgue. Vlad easily knocks Peter out in a rematch. Peter is a fraud, as anyone who knows boxing knows, at leats deep down inside.

Chagaev/WLAD is definitely the more interesting fight to be made at the moment. Chagaev is the only fighter out there right now that can genuinely give Wladimir problems.

Wlad-Chagaev should be the next big fight for the HW's, there is no good reason why it shouldn't happen, but i'm sure we'll get plenty of bad reasons why it doesn't. If it does happen, Wlad will KO Chagaev in the middle rounds, he is not a stationary target like Valuev was and he is extremely quick with his lead left hook, quick enough to catch the dancing Chagaev and end his night. Dancing around throwing an occasional 1-2 works against Briggs or Valuev but against Wlad it is a good way to get your head taken off.
