It's not as bad as Fury ducking Ustinov, or Valuev ducking both Klitschkos

You do realize K2 has sent initial offers to Team Fury on several occasions, since his first win over DelBoy.:patsch

He gets an offer about every 8-10 months.

Sure, it's a voluntary offer, preliminary in the money with no specified amounts, but the offers have been made, for BOTH Klitschkos.

Team Fury however, has been VERY smart avoiding those early offers as they're probably lowball type offers similar to the one DelBoy initially signed for about 350K, less than Tyson made for either Chisora fight, and likely less than he made for Cunningham.

Fury would be wise to continue to avoid K2 offers as they typcially include rematch clauses, options to fight other K2 fighters afterwards, and low initial payment offers, some of whom have referred them as "slave" contracts.

David Haye avoided the offers for 3 yrs, and ended up getting even $$$, 11 million, and no strings attached, for simply holding a paper title that was snatched from Chagaev for choosing Wlad rather than rematching Valuev. :good

    Continuation from ABOVE^^^^^

If Fury is smart, he'll call out the winner of Browne/Chagaev.

Petition the WBA for that fight, and go head try to get Wilder to bite on a fight in UK.

It would be a career high payday for both, and likely sell out a large stadium and re-establish SKY PPV.

Fury DOES NOT need Wlad. There are a healthy crop of undefeated American/Euro/Soviet/Aussie-Kiwi/Mexican fighters he could defend his WBA WBC titles against until Wlad hangs em up in early-late 2017.

Fury could go on a 10 yr run defending the paper titles like Wlad started, and establish a new lineage, fighting more often, and possibly eclipse the achievement of both the K2 without ever having faced one.:good:good

Doctors rules Chagaev medically unfit to rematch Valuev. He also failed medicals to fight Haye in England.

No problem for Wlad in Germany however. Wlad can do whatever he wants in Germany.

But then ironically begged for a rematch plus a shot at Vitali for years.

When has Wlad ever avoided a Mandatory? :huh

He has until October for the Fury fight. Wlad's only options after Jennings are Fury or Wilder. That is it.

Would still be better if he started that 10 year + title reign by defeating an ATG

That would be truly sad. What's more, at the end of that ten year reign there will be so much stink about his having avoided Wlad because he was "scared" that he will wish that he had faced him.

Wlad and Fury will fight though. Too much money to be made, and Fury could still rebound from a loss the same way that Wlad did from his losses.

come on, neither have the guts to fight each other. certainly fury hasn't, who chickened out of Ustinov, for goodness sake, a tall bald fatty.
