I don't rate Tarver at all. His claim to fame is beating a shot Roy Jones. He lost easily against grandad and if you look at his record, every good guy he's fought beat him the first time. If he wins it'll be the first time he's won a big fight that wasn't a rematch. And he looked like absolute crap in his last fight. The stuff he was saying at the press conferences was laughable. "I'm the man who beat the man" Yes you were until Hopkins beat you. "I'm the undisputed champion" No you're not. I actually thought he lost the Rocky Balboa fight too.
I think Woods will win. Tarver isn't the superstar he makes himself out to be, and seems to lack motivation of late. Clinton is a fighter all of Yorkshire can be proud of. A tough cookie, lets his fists do the talking. Unlike a certain Hennessy Sports fighter.......... But that's another story.
It was funny watching Tarver say how good looking he was at the press conference, and him taking the **** out of Clintons looks was quite amusing with everyone laughing at him. I am not about to take the **** out of Tarver's looks and do not have the time to delve through old re-runs of Starsky and Hutch episodes to substantiate any comparisons i care not to make about Tarver being ever so slightly delusional.
