It's not the worst ever but Gatti really got walloped by Mayweather. Frazier-Quarry I is also a fight that qualifies. Norton-Quarry also qualifies.
as far as taking a beating but then coming back to win i have Rocky Marciano get beat up, cut, and knoicked down by Jersey Joe and then scoring the KO. McClellen beating up Benn then turning the tables on Gerald and hurting him even worse. I kind of wanna count Chavez and Taylor even though Chavez didn't look too beat up. He still took a lot of punches throughout the entire fight. and if i count Chavez and Taylor then I gotta go Joe Louis vs. Billy Conn. Allthough that wasn't exactly a thorough beating.
and also Andrade ko'ing Bute in like the last second of their 1st fight after eating rights and lefts all night.

i believe the conn - mills photo is on this board but god knows where its at there are too many pages to look through and if ya look at that photo conns fingers look like purple sausages
Maybe it's a good thing, there's no footage of Joe Grim - because he was allowed to take beatings so horrific, that it probably would be hard to watch today. Even on film!
