Absolute top = Roberto Duran v Davey Moore.

That was terrible to watch, and even is on tape today. That referee should have been shot on the spot.

"Honorable" mention: Joe Baksi - Bruce Woodcock.

Yeah this is the first one that springs to mind when I think of horrific beatings,a narrow, highly competitive 15 rd UD with no cuts or knock downs.:nut

Same old ad nauseous answers, same old ****. :-( Where's the originality?

John David Jackson vs Jorge Fernando Castro

Simon Brown laid out some hardcore ass kickings, against Jorge Luis Maysonet and Jorge Vaca especially. He was a real destroyer for a short period of time.

Hearns/Saensak Muangsurin was as bad as Castro/Jackson, if not worse. Muangsurin was supposedly going legally blind at the time. He stood there in his awkward muay thai stance and had zero head movement, absorbing dozens of full power Hearn's right hands. The very same right hands that viciously knocked out iron chinned Roberto Duran.

Getting some more generic answers out of the way.

    Hagler/Hamsho. Pick one.

Guillermo Jones last two fights have been damaging ass kickings, against Arslan and Brudov.

Never watched it in its entirity but Trinidad/Wright is supposedly a 12-0 sweep, a consistent ass kicking.

    Margarito/Mosley of course.

This a fight where Tyson seemed to get stronger and stronger as the fight wore on.

He didn't just beat Biggs, he beat him up....

Felix Trinidad vs. Ricardo Mayorga was pretty violent.
I think he ruined Mayorga that night.

    Miguel Cotto vs. Carlos Quintana
    He made Carlos quit

    Lennox Lewis vs. Mike Tyson
Lewis is a huge puncher....he can humble anybody with enough blows.

Larry Holmes vs. Randall 'Tex' Cobb
It should have been stopped sooner.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Arturo Gatti
This was flawless. Floyd abused him.

Galento-Nova was supposed to be as bad as it gets, especially with Galento's dirty tactics.

I've never seen any footage of it but I saw a post fight picture of Nova in Ring magazine and he was a mess.Easily as badly disfigured as Foreman after the Stewart fight.

Another one sided beating I did see was Tszyu-Gonzalez.

Kostya landed multitudes of those devestating flush rights that wrenched Gonzalez's head but Gonzalez wouldn't fall.He had some chin on him.
