Jones-Hall will always be the first fight that pops in my mind when I think of a bad beating.

The ass whuppin Bowe gave Jorge Luis Gonzalez was pretty bad too.

    Ali vs Cleveland Williams

Ali vs Frazier 3 (both took punishment, but frazier absorbed heaps of it later in the fight)

Tyson vs Biggs - anyone who lasts a few rounds against a peak mike is in for a beating

Lloyd Honeygahn vs Don Curry - a huge shock, but Curry took an asswhuppin

Marvin Hagler vs Alan Minter - terrible beatdown, some racist 'fans' went beserk after the result.

Jack Johnson vs Stanley Ketchel was pretty bad aswell.

    as was Dempsey vs Willard.

Charles vs Marciano. Rocky's nose was going in different directions.

Yeah that was one frightening beat-down.

Perhaps the most prolonged beating was the one Battling Nelson got when he lost the LW championship to Ad Wolgast. At least the newspaper reports is gory stuff.
