    you have to admire the spirit on that dude. it took a while for him to realize he should take on a new career. props to him for sticking for what he loves to do

    Buckley and Strickland are journeymen legends on their respective sides of the pond. And far from being crap, they both have the skills needed to consistantly make it to the final bell without getting badly hurt or knocked down.

    Compare that to someone like the legendary Eric Crumble, who just got splattered in each and every fight.

    Wish Buckley and Strickland would fight each other (though Buckley is over 20 pounds lighter!)...it'd have to be a draw, or the universe would implode.

    No; if it was in America, Buckley would deserve to win by a round but lose the decision; with things being reversed this side of the pond.;)

    Buckley is not to bad a fighter really,ive seen him in the past loads of time on euro sport,never seen him go down or get badly hurt,he does not really try to do to much though,he knows his limit,guys like him make boxing as well,with out him the good fighters would never learn anything,if they were getting 1 round KOs all the time,he at least makes them work and try different combos out.

    That was about it though, at least as far as the Benn fight was concerned! If memory serves me right Yoe was claiming something like 20-5 record and also claiming to of never been stopped; at least boxrec sometimes puts a stop to this sort of thing now a days...;)
