    Cortez was a disgrace.

And Mayweather constantly pushing his elbow in the face of Hatton should have resulted in point deductions for Mayweather.

Cortez warned the Mayweather-corner about it between the rounds, but nothing happened when Mayweather continued using the elbow.

Then right when Hatton hit Mayweather when he turned his back to his opponent, Cortez was quick as hell to deduct a point from Hatton.

I hope this was Cortez' last fight as a referee.

Shitty job by Cortez. Did not change the fight though. Floyd still taxed that ass.

I can't remember being so annoyed by a ref in my life. The fight was never the same after he took that bogus point away either. Hatton was just as pre-occupied by Cortez as he was with Floyd.

Cortez was very concerned about Floyd's comfort.

That's right. He tried to maintain it as a boxing match . . . not a wrestling match.

    :D

PBF initiated the holding more than did RH, and was intent on doing so from the start of the fight. That really surprised me, but it was a good strategy by PBF.

Ref did his job, period. All kind of excuses, Hatton was holdig, Floyd was holding, they both were holding. They werent mixing it up on the inside, both dudes had each other in headlocks etc. The ref did his job. I mean are people really complaining over the officiating, it wouldnt have made a difference anyway on the outcome. He shoulda watched out 4 the check hook:yep
so regardless, I think it was a great officiated fight. No complaints

agreed and the judges were even worse. One round for Hatton and how many for Oscar when he fought Floyd?

Ref was horrible the point against hatton should have been a KD. Mayweather turned his back he obviously needed a break.

In the end I will agree Mayweather would have won the fight either way, but let us see. Mayweather already has everything going for him he doesnt need the ref too.

In the end Hatton was simply outclassed his only oppurtunity was also his greatest downfall.

Cotto would woop Mayweather, but you could tell by the post fight interview Mayweather wants nothing to do with him. He is scared.

Mayweather hands down greatest natural talent in boxing today, and for a long time. At the lower weights he is impossible to beat, but at 147 he is beatable. Fight some real 147lbs aka Cotto
