The Pernell fight was auwful but the Camacho, Chavez rematch, Charpentier, Kamau and Rivera fights were special? GTFO! Oscar ducked it and he ducked it because he got made to look like a fool in the fight and Arum needed that to happen again like he needed a hole in the head.
Dont even bother some people think Oscar walks on water, Pernell won that fight but Arum had the judges in his back pocket. Then he ran away and hid.
He won though. Rosario got outpointed. You can't win a fight just because you hurt a guy what three times, but your getting outpointed throughout the fight. It did change the career of Camacho moving forward. I heard talks about a rematch at 147 when Rosario had a string of wins and was getting ranked up at 147 when Rosario passed (RIP). I hear what you are saying and others saying it for years. I finally got a copy and watched it several times to agree that Camacho did win via points. It was not like he ran like Oscar versus Tito. Don't jump on me for that because I thought Oscar should have won or at least a draw. Camacho was one fighter that could land while running or backing up. To be honest, I did not want them to fight in the first place.

Not true. Hagler chased Leonard for over a year for a rematch. Leonard didn't want one and claimed he was retiring in May '87. Hagler finally gave up and retired in the Summer of '88. Within six weeks of Hagler retiring Leonard announced his 'comeback' fight against Lalonde. Leonard finally offered Hagler the rematch in 1990, by which time Hagler was retired and making cheap movies in Italy, so it never happened.
