on a side note wat a ****in ****** of a ref round 9 was a classic! just because of what the ref told both fighters to calm down lmfao!!!!!!!!!!!its a ****in fight! dont tell them to calm down moron!!! :rofl

Yeah the ref really didn't have to be there, the 2 fighters were doing good job breaking themselves. Castillo definitely won. He was able to faint and time mayweather. I give Floyd credit for giving him the rematch

I disagree completely with your summary and scorecard.

Floyd easily won the first 5 rounds of the fight. Not at all hard to score. Castillo did no effective work, got hit, and was being turned constantly.

Over the second half of the fight, Castillo asserted himself, but far from fought a perfect fight. He was still getting tagged, and kept fouling precious points away. Floyd also got a just deduction for the use of his forearm.

I scored it for Mayweather, and thus he won the title. 3 judges agreed with me. Close fight, could have gone Castillo's way, but he just was terribly ineffective early.

Keep watching fights, and keep posting your opinions! :good

That decision was so unpopular that a rematch was demanded. Castillo won that fight and most, by far thought so also, but Void has his judges.

ah thanks for the repiles guys i dunno man..u said castillo was innefective yet forcing floyd to fight off the ropes digging bodyshots and sum nice shots that floyd never got hit flush and uh he outlanded mayweather...? plus more power shots...i jsut dont see how mayweather deserved to take the belt from castillo..oh well we all have opinions :) and i think being aggressive volume punching is a better way to beat floyd than trying to outbox him..its what he does..u need to pressure him and take him outta his comfort zone..but its not as easy as it sounds hes very good after all.

    Floyd won that fight.

5-7 rounds, plus two for being American = 7-5 to Floyd. Not a robbery.

i thought mayweather took by 2 rounds. first 5 was easy for floyd then few swing rounds with castillo late... at worst a close match if castillo won all the swing rounds. by no means robbery.

Plus two for being American? It's a shame I have to ask, but are you being sarcastic?

Yes. And you are right - it is a shame you have to ask. But you do because what I wrote in that post is how many posters seem to really think. Which - I agree - is a shame.
