Are you related to Harold Lederman? There's no way Williams won that fight. He had his ass handed to him in almost every round of that fight.

Not really! Quintana did nothing in the second half of that fight but potshot and hold. I guess some of you will have to rewatch it.

Anyways, grats to Quintana. He fought the best possible fight. I just didn't see him winning.

I had a premonition Williams was going to lose right after I saw him come out. Do you want to know why? He came out to the song "Ain't No Stopping Us Now". Every fighter that I have seen come out to that song have always lost. Case in point Larry Holmes vs Mike Tyson and Chavez vs Camacho. Both Larry and Camacho came out that song.

    I know it's a stupid thought, but....

Yeah, all as Carlos did was move, make Paul miss and hit him with hard, flush shots. Absolute robbery!

I dont think it was a robbery at all but I thought Williams won by a split decision at least. But yes it makes Cotto look great.

Excellent fight. Imo a close one, with the slight edge going to Quintana. He seemed to work harder, land harder, and generally just fight harder than Williams. There seemed to a problem with his conditioning mid-way thru the fight though, which Williams capitalized on and made the fight close (Quintana was on fire the early rounds), but Quintana seemed to rebound just enough.

I agree Ledderman's card is way off.

The thread starter is obviously a Margarito fan who's trying to make his boy look better by claiming the guy who last beat him was robbed against a B level fighter

I had him in 2 parlays and put a little bit on +800 odds for a Quintana decision win. I'm on a betting high right now. :D

There's no way Williams won that fight.
