Thats no surprise from you and Zakman to be honest.
I can see your 7-5, 8-4 is ridiculous mate.
I had it a draw. I'll watch it again in the morning.
Please tell me you give Taylor props at least, unlike that gimp mate of yours Zakman?

The fight was a close one, but the judge Dave score it 117-111 for Pavlik which in my opinion is too much credit for Pavlik. I think Jermain won the fight by one point, a draw maybe. Jermain fought great. First time in Pavlik's career he has been in a 12 round fight. In the end it was a great fight but a close one.

How does 1 single round change it from acceptable to "ridiculous"? That just flat makes not sense.

    :good

I actually had Jermain by a round with two very close rounds....so a Kelly win is neither a robbery nor a surprise. I thought Taylor fought very well and landed the cleaner, harder shots. Pavlik on the other hand landed more and dictated the pace with the jab (tho Taylor's jab was much more effective and crisp...).

Again. 7-5 either way is acceptable....so is a draw. It was a great fight. I think even the Taylor haters gotta give the boy his due after this one. He fought a smart fight (something you could NEVER say in the past) and kept it close enough to be debated....barely. It was another good fight from these two....Im actually happy I ordered it. Very few fights leave me with that feeling.

What the **** are you on about. I said it was acceptable on his part, being generous, not on my part. 7-5 is a difference of two rounds = acceptable. 8-4 is a difference of 4 rounds = not acceptable, there was no ****ing way Pav had four rounds over Taylor. Get it???????

There's no need to reinvent the wheel here folks. Pavlik was busier and landed more but Taylor landed the cleanest punches.

    :rofl :rofl :rofl

How ironic that people are suggesting that the KING of Gift Decisions, Jermain Taylor, got "robbed."

Actually, the surprise tonight is that Taylor DIDN'T get ANOTHER gift. HBO must've finally woken up to the fact that this mediocrity wasn't gonna pay off.

As I said, there were two very close rounds that could have gone either way (Im way too drunk right now to go back and see which ones...:D ) but I had Taylor up by a round...so I could easily see Pavlik by a round.

Regardless. It was another good fight from these two. As a boxing fan, Im satisfied.

    It very was close.

But Taylor was the one backing up.

And Taylor looked worse at the end of the fight.
