    It was only the first rounds. So it's hard to tell if Mendy could have done better later on but in the first round Bika was all over Mendy.

    Now we don't have a clear winner. This sucks. The only solution I can see is a rematch on Bute's undercard in october if Mendy can recuperate quickly enough.

    Why on earth should Bika get a rematch ? He ****ed up and blatantly fouled an opponent and broke clear rules. Mendy gets the shot at the title and Bika can have his next fight against a hopelessly outmatched Thai on an Australian card in about a year or so when his management get around to organising it for him.

    mendy is now the challenger for the title so why would he rematch bika?

    that would be stupid if u ask me.

    not worth the risk surely. he may never get another opportunity to fight for a world title.

    i know it is annoying, i would love to see bika fight for the title too.

    Why doesn't Bika base himself in the USA for the next year or so and use himself as a trainer partner and fight every 2 months or so on US cards ? I suppose he would rather base himself in OZ and fight a Thai cabbie every 12 months.

    Bika is a lost cause.........just blows the best chance since winning the contender to make an impact on the world scene with a 1st rd KO. but no..........doesn't have the discipline to keep it together when it matters. I can't believe this guy.

    :lol::lol:

    Seriously though, Bika's career is over. He or his management ****ed up big time over the last few years. He had so much going for him after the conteneder series but wasted the momentum and now he does this.

    Whos going to want to fight the guy after that ?

    I'm just frustrated because Bute is once again without a legit opponent. If Mendy had dominated Bika then fantastic. Bring it on. But now we got a guy that was about to get KOed in one round who will now get a shot at Bute. How the **** is Bute going to sell that fight? Who the **** is going to buy tickets to see that? HBO sure as hell won't buy it.

    Can you imagine the **** storm that's gonna rain on Bute for fighting Mendy. It's even worst then the Brinkley fight.

    I think he has plenty left,he stuffed up but he can fight,definately needs to base himself in the US,keep active and try to put this behind him,work on a new plan to get another shot.Will take time though;

    I'm definitely not doubting his skill, he has a chance against just about anyone at 168 but why have we not seen him fight much the last few years and wtf was he thinking today.

    **** Bika. I hope he suffers a career ending injury, either inside or outside the ring...as long as it's painful, and leaves his dreams in tatters.

    What he did was DESPICABLE. It was absolutely flagrant and premeditated.

    **** him.
