I was scouting around Youtube looking for new fights to watch. I came up with a lot of fights I'd never seen or hadn't seen in a long time. I wonder how many fights I miss due to lack of time. I think a great sticky would be "new fights on youtube". Here's a list of what I found last night (easily searchable, just too much to paste in the links):

Thanks for the list! Son of a biscuit I was watching Gushiken/Lopez a few days ago.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check those out later. I'm pretty played out at the moment. I watched five or six fights in a row during the night. I look forward to a lot of those though. :good

GreatA (or anyone else that knows about these things), how do you carve up boxing that is longer than ten minutes for YouTube? I don't need a step by step breakdown or anything, just a start, I don't want to worry about it if YouTube breaks up a longer film for you, for example.

jmc617 who is the creator of the www.boxpres.com site (a good site to view recent uploads in by the way) recommended this program:

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=USGUXFWE

I haven't used it myself, I just use the same programs that I create videos with but I'm guessing that it works.

I used Sony Vegas but it doesn't seem to work on my computer any longer so I'm stuck with Windows Movie Maker at the moment...

Thanks for that. I may have a punt at it with Window's Movie Maker. After all, it's only splitting a fight in two.

No me, i'm all out new to uploading ****. Up until Friday I thought it was something you could only do if you were a witch. It's really not that hard to upload something that is shorter than ten minutes.

only problem with windows movie maker is it encodes it, then splits it, so it comes out the other end slightly worse quality than the original

I have used a few video splitters, and they all seem to do the same thing, so if anyone knows of one that just purely splits the video tell me......

but ya, windows movie maker is an easy way of doing it.....

(also i thought you asking me how to do this in the other thread was a sarcastic dig, so i apologise for that)

I carve fights up using Final Cut Pro but that's industry standard video editing software. I usually give every part 3 rounds or so, those fights uploaded that cut out during the round are barely worth watching.
