He might get a "belt", depending on the title holder he would face but he's not getting a real title.

Yuri Foreman is very hard to beat to anyone. He might have tone of the he best foot movement , very fast and smart.
He will be a champ soon

I'm not banking on him winning a title. He's got a couple of close decisions in his favour against C level guys, and he's in a strong division now with a lot of good up and comers.

I like watching the guy. He's fast and slick with good footwork. However, his resume' suggests he will never be more than a high level gate keeper. He had a very competetive fight with Anthony Thompson who got sparked by Grady Brewer in 3 rounds. He scored a UD over Vinroy Barrett who also lost a UD to Grady.

Brewer is a much better fighter than his record indicates, so there are certainly worse things you could say about Foreman, but for now, I'm sayin' that's his level.

If he matches up against the right guys, he could win a title. He can box on the outside and circle an opponent about as well as anyone, but he can't fight for **** on the inside and he couldn't pop a balloon with his punch. If he gets a shot against someone like Spinks, I could very easily see him coming out the victor, but he'll never be an upper echelon guy because of his massive flaws. A good forward-moving boxer-puncher like Santos would obliterate him.

He's kind of like Cory Spinks lite. Even if you beat him, you're not going to look good doing it and the blood and guts fans aren't going to be too excited in the process. Also the sort of fighter who benefits from the mandatory system, because nobody would give him a title shot voluntarily. If he wants the shot, that's what he needs to utilize.

And Foreman MAY win a "paper title" but will never be real champ...Lacks power bigtime...He had a tough time against Tsurkan...and Tsurkan is tough but not world class...

It's easy to confuse the two. They're both Soviet bloc Jews who live in Williamburg and couldn't squash a mosquito. Foreman is the far superior fighter though, IMO.
