In case anybody cared to notice.

Shaking off that ring rust and reclaiming his spot as the most exciting boxer today.

50 cent is trying to ruin him by throwing him to Broner so quickly. There level of talent is on par, but doesn't look like Gamboa has that same power at 130. At 135 I think Broner might stop him.

Gamboa looked poor. He had a good opponent in front of him but his timing was off and he pushed most of his punches. I thought it was a very close fight.

I was very dissapointed by his performance. He was shaken up multiple times and could have ended like Pac if that left hook in the 9th had been a little bit harder.

I don't like Broner and I like Gamboa, but if they actually fight I'll put the house on Broner by KO.

Gamboa looked a bit sloppy. Maybe it was just ring rust but if Farenas had a bit more pop in his punch, the fight would have ended differently for sure.

I used to think Gamboa was a dumb**** for not taking the MIl to fight Rios but after the way he looked tonight I think he made the right call.

  8. Very sloppy performance, whose supremo attitude didn't quite add up while getting rocked, floored and counter punched at will.

Im a fan of gamboa, he's super talented but I'm still not seeing a guy who is a ring general. 12 round fighter

Also he can shove that mayweather defence up his arse because Broner would land at will if he tries to move like that.

I wouldn't put my house on it, but I think I'd favour a Broner KO too. Gamboa looks wobbly when he gets hit, makes for excitement but your heart would be in your mouth the whole fight if you were supporting him. He is of course very good offensively but could possibly fight more consistantly rather than in spurts as he sometimes does. I was impressed by his opponent

Gamboa is 30 years old and, like many guys who have boxed full-time for almost 2 decades, doesn't want to do it forever and wants to make some money while he's still popular. Broner and Rios are by far the biggest draws in Gamboa's max weight range(130-140) and he wants these fights before they move up.

he needs to switch the way he conditions. He trains too much like an MMA fighter and not like a boxer. He's too stocky for his frame especially when he's coming in at 148 the day of the fight
