He didn't so sound punchy as trying a bit too hard to be gangsta - it was like a morning-after interview with Snoopdog.

 

glasgow 'gangsters' have talked deliberately slowly for decades. Me & my mates always laugh at old scottish guys on TV who talk slowly, cos they think it makes them sound tough

To me though Mack just seemed lke an ok guy. didnt talk too fast, didnt talk too slow. An OK opponent for Froch in every sense of the word.

You know Carl knows hes going to win though when he talks up his opponents guns in interviews, Frochy keeping a straight face whilst talking about Macks biceps had this old timer thinking about gambling on a boxing resut for the first time ever!

When Froch talks up an opponent? You know hes a dead duck.
