Valdez late stoppage in the championship rounds. It would be a war neither fighter would be the same after.

Wow you really think Valdez would stop The Man of Steel?
Im more inclined to think Zale takes a UD in a seesaw battle with his body work paying dividens in the later rounds.

Yeh Valdez could really hit and would be the bigger stronger guy although he could be outboxed to out fight him would be very difficult. In reality if Valdez were the top contender in Zale's time the fight wouldn't happen Zale didn't defend the title against the best like Williams, Burley, Marshall, Moore and LaMotta.

You met Fedor, whats he like?

I could honestly see Zale outfighting & outboxing Valdez. People only see the past his prime zale in the Graziano & Cerdan fights where he looks stiff. I have footage of him in a losing effert against the 6'2 Billy Soose.
He looks much different with alot of head & upperbody movements.
I met Fedor at a seminar. Very nice and kinda shy a real gentleman.

    Great matchup.

I'll take Zale over Rodrigo to win a UD. Zale was cool under pressure and had the skills, chin, heart and stamina needed to edge out powerhouses such as Graziano and the great Valdez.

Zale was cagier, and had better technical skill and defense. Based on that I give him the edge. I think Valdez is actually a little overrated.
