I feel Zappa being the much bigger & stronger man will dominate St Clair, maybe even leading to a late stoppage. St Clair has slowed down considerably & is much easier to hit these days. Being at 140 is also a huge disadvantage.
Gairy looks slower and semi-retired at that weight...Should be tricky for a few rounds but I cant see Gairy winning this one.
Zappa should win this fight with his speed, power and combos....and his big lefts to the body........however Gary will always put up a good show so will be interesting fight.
I think that everyone feels Zappa will win. But how? Is St Clair so finished he will actually get KOed, or can he still do 12 hard ones?
Zappa did look good in his last few fights however I dont think he will stop Gary........he just has a lot of smartz in the ring
stclair will not test his chin that is for sure. Zappa will win. But i would like to see Zappa keep his left a little higher. down the track someone may exploit that flaw.
can't see it going any other way than with zappa. i thought St. clair did enough against Kickett, but even a performance similar to that one will not defeat Zappa. St. Clair seems to lack the power in his punches and will struggle to land the big ones to hurt Zappa. 2009 could be a big one for Zappa. Good luck to him.
Zappa by UD. St Clair has a good chin and is very experienced, I will be surprised if he gets stopped.
I agree Gairey beat Kicket and will get the L against Zappa but it will be a great learner for Zappa as he will make it to the deap end. If Zappa stops St Clair he is my new hero.
