Zhang ducks Martin Bakole

He can make more fighting someone else, and doesn't have many fights left at his age. I don't blame him for this.

 

Who is Bakole. Who has he fought? Easy call from Zhang. Make Bakole fight Chisora and see how he does.

Zhang said he wanted the fight. I'm curious to know the real reason why this fight isn't taking place. Maybe he's got shorter path to the title?

They're trying to schedule this fight for December, so there is still a lot of time for the fight to be made.

 

Who is the potential opponent for December he speaks about? Parker?

I expect 'His Excellency' has Zhang v Parker 2 in mind for December.
I would like to see Bakole v Kabayel, to further the elimination.

 

When Bakole beats someone worth mentioning that fight makes sense.

Not surprised, he seemed like he wanted the Parker rematch and it was the Saudi's who were pushing for him to face Bakole.

I honestly would have preferred he fought Bakole so Parker could be freed up from the rematch. As long as Parker/Zhang is announced next then I don't see this as a duck as it makes more sense that Zhang would want to avenge a defeat.

Bakole should fight Parker or Kabayel, those are the real tests, Zhang is too old and is aiming for the bigger money fight with Dubois...

 

Bakole is an exciting fighter but why does he deserve a Zhang fight, and why does Zhang have to fight him next? A win against Jared Anderson and suddenly he's getting "ducked" by other opposition?

Zhang has every right to ask for a Dubois fight, he stopped Joyce twice, stopped Wilder and put Parker on his arse twice. Bakole has beaten a 42 year old Takam and an unproven novice Jared Anderson, they're not in the same league.
