They’re in talks to make the Joe Joyce fight (apparently) so (hopefully) it could be him but I doubt it.

Anthony Yarde will surprisingly be the co feature (Apparently he is a star now but he’s playing a support role to a novice?).

If it is Dubois vs Joyce with Yarde on the undercard then I assume we are to expect PPV.

It would be brilliant if it were to happen. Just can’t see it.

At his age and this stage, April is a long time for Dubois to be out of the ring especially if it’s not a big ‘Joyce’ fight. He should be out again late February against a durable Mariaus Wach type opponent and then again in April if need be.

I like the fight and look forward to it. April is a bit much since his last fight but maybe he has a few niggles or just needs a bit of a break?

April is fine if its against Joe joyce. No point fighting 2 fujimotos 1 in February and 1 in April. 4 months since his last fight is ok.

If it is another low level opponent, then its a wasted 4 months. I'm expecting a decent fight in April.

I would like to see joyce and Dubois go in different directions until there is at least a European or final eliminator at stake.

I don’t think it’s too bad if he steps up. He’s averaging five fights a year since he turned pro which isn’t that many, but it’s not a massive stand out. Joshua was 17-0 after a similar time period, but he had beaten Whyte, Martin and Breazeale in that run.

If Dubois ends up having four/five months off to fight another nobody that’s a cause for concern. If it’s Joyce, then someone like Wach, then I think everyone would be happy.

Really hope we get Dubois vs Joyce in April, but I'm not optimistic that we will.

I read a wee while ago that Vlasov is the opponent being lined up for Yarde which would be a good match-up for him I think and would be his best win so far if he were to beat him.

He'll need a full 12 week camp for Joyce. More cause, perhaps, for optimism.

On the way Sam Jones and Dubois have been tweeting. Reckon it is a done deal or very close to.

Seems like Dubois - Joyce is a done deal for April which is great news.

Dubois fought five times last year and I heard he’s taking a little break, so April which will come along lighting quick is fine IMO.

I think Warren has booked the 02 and probably would have to make this PPV to pay the purses, so I’m not surprised he’s putting Yarde on in a good fight and will probably pack the undercard with his youngsters.

That's positive (well maybe not the PPV part). I was expecting a keep busy fight in April being used to promote a September fight against Joyce.

Have a bit more time for Yarde since his brave effort against Kovalev. Hope he has a decent opponent and doesn't regress...

Warren has said previously that Dubois v Joyce is a PPV fight, so it’ll be them two and then Yarde vs a nobody.
