I remember thinking how clueless Canelo looked. It was like no one told him Floyd was allowed to move out of the way. He wasn't just getting outclassed, he didn't even know what to do. He's come a long way since that loss, and really improved his technical skills.

At the time it was the definition of "high risk/high reward" for both fighters. While not very competitive, I will say that Canelo was alive and trying in there. He was just shut down at every turn and had no gas to "go for broke" which was the only thing he didn't try. Canelo was too passive. Likewise, in classic Floyd fashion, a little bit more risk would have yielded a lot more highlight reel offense. With retrospect, it was one era's P4P King in old age beating the next era's P4P King in youth. Don't think that has happened too often in boxings history, if ever.
