yeah, it's freaking hudge but only has about 4 books on boxing and about 30 on cycling. Guesss that says a bit about the state of our beloved sport.

i seen it a while back.i wouldnt have that much experience at boxing training but i thought it was ok.i was specifically loking for his advanced training methods(tennis ball on an elastic band strapped to his head etc) but there was none of that.i think it was more aimed at the "get fit" market.

I was given that package as a cristmas present and I enjoyed it. It was a while ago but ill try remember.

As a previous poster said it isnt really a boxing book as it is aimed at the general self-improvement market. It explains basic techniques in detail like correct breathing, punching technique, stretching etc. but it also is a motivational and diet book. Being a huge KT fan it was a good read as he explains how each exercise/technique helped him. Sometimes reading about the basics can be refreshing because I tend to forget some of the detail. Its one of those books that after reading you just want to start doing everything.

The DVD is pretty good too, but Tszyu isnt the most charismatic presenter. He covers how to do the exercises correctly, and explains things such as different methods of doing pushups, situps etc. and more interesting things such as improving coordination, balance, punching techniques and partner work. Basically he shows you the things explained in the book and a little more.

Its good because the DVD isnt one you do infront of the tv, he shows you how to do the exercise but there is no repitition so he goes through plenty of techniques. Again it is mostly designed for beginners and says some pretty obvious stuff, but there are a few things im sure most people wouldnt do, such as punching a sheet of paper in half, getting dizzy and flicking coins off your arm and catching them on the way down. Unfortunately there isnt any footage of his fights except a brief clip of Mitchell 2 fight.

Overall, its a good package if you dont mind going over some basic information and has enough extra insight by Tszyu to be interesting. You would buy it for the book because there are little stories and facts about Tszyu that are fascinating.

    awesome post man! Thanks!!
Yeah i will get it just because i'm such a huge fan of Tszyu and seeing how he trained should be interesting. I remember reading somewhere that Tszyu had pretty good numbers on the bench press and I wondered if he would include weights on the dvd.
Punching sheets of paper in half? Never heard of that before

From memory he explains how to use light weights for things like stamina and muscular endurance but he doesnt go into heavy lifting on the DVD.
