Going into the fight the general reading of things was if it ended in the distance it would be Masvidal getting his hand raised - If it went the distance it would likely.be an Askren decision. What exactly are you arguing/disagreeing about? I'm not saying Askren would have won if he didn't get flying kneed early. Yeah i definitely said there was a chance but you are making out it was almost a certainty but as I said nobody has been able to completely dominate him including fighters with more tools then Askren
Risky is still applicable IMO even given the valid points you make. That was close to a flying double knee, looked like he was going to takeoff LOL, it just reminded me of some of those early UFC's charging across the ring.
Appears what he should do is work a shitload on his Muay Thai and don't bend over like a 90 year old man but from reading it appears that he doesn't like to do that work in camp.

Yes that was one of the most brutal finishes ever imo up there with Gary Goodridges famous elbows finish. Well done to Masvidal. He won't beat the Usman-Colby winner though. I will bump this comment when they beat him.
