Are we talking only heavyweight boxers who were world class? If so, probably not. But in America a lot of boxers were also involved in freestyle wrestling in middle school and high school. Take for example Kermit Cintron who had a ton of accolades as a wrestler. Terence Crawford was apparently a good wrestler in Nebraska too. I'm sure there are others. I don't think people who have never grappled have any idea just how easy it is for someone with those abilities to throw around an inexperienced opponent without grappling credentials. I'd say Rocky Serkioski might have a chance. Apparently he was a decorated wrestler in high school in Wisconsin and a passable heavyweight boxer. I think he fought Scott Ledoux. It might sound crazy to say someone as great as Vitali would lose to an anonymous pug, but that's what grappling can do for you. I'm sure there've been other Friday Night Fights prelims level pugs over the years who have the skills to hold Vitali, Lennox Lewis, etc. down for fifteen minutes to get a win with control and ground and pound.

Vitali with a good guard and takedown defense would be a monster in MMA. But there are just so many dynamics at play in MMA. So no I don't think he would be unbeatable.

Well, I'd have to add that Cro Cop sparred with Wlad in a pure boxing match and got taken to pieces. But kickboxing / MMA is not pure boxing and it was pretty stupid of them to ban you for that ...
